After the aquarium, we went to Jeff's favorite park from his childhood. Dennis the Menace Park in Monterey. The kids had a blast, and Jeff had a blast watching them enjoy many of the same structures he played on 30 years ago. (Minus the horribly dangerous attractions California removed years ago.)
We went the Exploratorium in San Francisco next. This is a science museum with an insane amount of hands on experiments. The kids were completely overwhelmed after a few hours so we had to leave.
This was a cool fog machine that they played with for a long time.
Joshua was completely focused at this amoeba station.
Did you know that you can hear with your bones? We do now. This machine has you place a disposable (thank you) straw over a metal rod. You would bite down with your teeth and plug your ears. You would then hear a radio station. It was incredible. You can't believe it the first time you do it.
Poor Blakers took a tumble against a table leg and conjured up this impressive goose egg.
