You might not be able to see what the kids are watching but they were so cute watching Toy Story 3. They got out all of the toys from the movie. We only have a few of the "actual" toys from the movie but they were very resourceful and found toys that were close to the characters. I loved seeing the kids play together this way. My babies are growing up and I can't stop them.

Time for a haircut?? How about our 5th or 6th haircut?

For those of you that haven't heard we selling our condo finally. We are pretty excited to have some change in our life. We will miss this little place but it's long overdue. We don't have just one plan in mind so if you can offer us a decent job we'd love to be your neighbors.

Can you guess the event?????

These pictures are in order of a big event at our house. Can you guess what happened??
Clue: It happened on Monday November 1st

Halloween 2010

For some reason my children have found the words "hobo" and "hippie" the funniest words in the English lanuguage. They have used these words for years to describe anything funny or weird. This year we thought it would be funny to dress up as a clan of hippies. We tie dyed our own t-shirts, made peace sign pendants out of salt dough and hemp, found super cheap glasses and wigs....and......this is what you get.

Do you think Caleb likes the wig?

I added this picture because he's sooo freakin' cute.

Kyle's Birthday

I'm pretty backed up but am determined to document the last few months. Here's a quick synopsis of Kyle'e 7th birthday. He is "Mr. Holiday" and loves celebrations. It was so cute to see his face and he got to celebrate his day. I'm mostly glad he was happy with rainbow colored cupcakes instead of having to make a shaped cake.

I don't know why my stupid camera makes so many things blurry. It's driving me nuts. Anyway, here are the boys building the new lego vehicles. They sure love legos.

Food Poisoning anyone????

I ran out of quart jars so I sent my Dad down to their basement storage room to get the old old jars of food so I could empty them out and clean them (and by clean, I mean sanitize 2 times). He came up with the grossest jars of peaches and cherries. At least I think they are cherries. By their color I'd say they look more like olives. These are jars of fruit that my Grandmother canned when she lived in our house. She hasn't lived there in over 20 years. It smelled pretty nasty sending them down the disposal. On a side note....Thanks Grandma for not pitting the cherries before canning them. My disposal has never made such lovely sounds.

I must change for the better....

I wish I had more posts to show what we have been up to for the last couple of months. I'm terrible!!!
In all reality we have had a very hard October at our house. One of our favorite babysitters was killed in a tragic car accident close to our home and that took so much of our time and energy to deal with. Jeff also lost one of his cousins to suicide close after that. We seem to have completely missed October in mourning.
We did manage to go Trick or Treating and had great fun with our costumes. We got to go to the zoo with Grandma Clark. We got to visit with Jeff's parents from California for a weekend. Kyle and Katherine finished up their fall soccer schedule and Josh completed his first adventure in flag football. Jeff is now working from home marketing for his mom's production company. I am still busy with the RS and live for my monthly book club meetings. Caleb is doing well in therapy and is very close to walking. They say that most kids can only focus on one area of advancement at a time. That is their way of saying, "we're hoping that's why he has no communication skills". We love the little guy and really don't care if he ever talks. He's freakin' cute and super funny. He loves to make faces and funny sounds at his brothers and sister to get them to pay attention to him. He's quite the clown.
We've only had one bout of sickness so far this school season and are crossing our fingers that we've puked enough for the whole year.
We are looking forward to driving (well....not the actual driving part!) to Cali for Thanksgiving and I'm secretly happy I don't have to cook the entire meal this year. Thanksgiving meals are ROUGH!
I will work tomorrow on posting the pictures I have backed up on my camera. Maybe it will happen between batches of applesauce and apple pie filling. (You've never seen a messy kitchen till you've seen a harvest/canning kitchen.)
