For those of you who do not know my husband very well-he hates dirt! He claims he never played in the dirt when he was a kid so that makes it not normal for kids to play in the dirt. (I don't think he knows how much time I spent in the dirt as a kid-maybe it's good he doesn't know) So life decided to play a trick on Jeff and sent him the dirtenist, bugginist kid on the planet. Joshua would stop on a dime as a 1 year old to watch an ant cross the sidewalk and get down on his belly to get as close as he could. He has enlisted all the neighbor kids at our condo complex to help him find centipedes, earthworms, ants, butterflies, snails etc. He is always in the dirt and rocks which drives Daddy nuts. Here is a picture that cracks me up. It's Joshua in his element!! He dug this hole at Grandma Clark's house looking for night crawlers. How content he looks!

How about dirt diapers in the sandbox, Zae? Or dirt and mud castles complete with a moat. I'm so happy to see a Caleb video. Thanks for posting that, Zae.
I love it!! Wish my kids had somewhere to play in the dirt, they just get dirty (I mean black) from the asphalt. We're coming memorial day weekend we should get together, go to the park with the kids.
