Let the Season Begin........

Baseball Season is HERE!! Kyle finally gets to play. He was disappointed when he heard his team was the "Nationals". What kind of mascot is that?? We told him that all teams don't need to have a ferocious animal for a name. He was just fine with the name as soon as he got his jersey and cap.
His first game he was the cutest catcher I've ever seen. He didn't like playing this position because dirt flew into his eyes from the ball hitting the dirt. He's a champion hitter and loves to run the bases.

This day their games were at the same time and it was a glorious Utah spring day with a high of 40 and it actually snowed for a few minutes. The boys were pretty happy to huddle under this quilt while they were sitting out.

Joshua barely made it to the competition level of his team. We were worried he wouldn't perform as well as he expected but the first game he caught a pop-fly and was so relieved. He's excited for the season now.

Just a cute Picture of our Bam-Bam.

My birthday cake. Jeff and the kids made me breakfast, dinner and this cake. They even left frosting off of one whole section for me. Yummmm
(I noticed a lot of our pics had the same smudge in the middle. Lens is now cleaned!)

We left Jeff's Grandma a surprise. The kids thought it was pretty funny and they weren't very quiet hiding in the hallway.

The next visit she got a much older surprise. At least we made her laugh.

Great Grandma Venice and her grandkids. Caleb was fascinated by Peppy the dog.

The hotel ran out of cribs so I convinced them to go against fire code and give us a cot. I was not about to have my baby sleep on a hotel floor. It was very hard for him to go to sleep right in front of the tv.

You'll have to talk to Jeff to get the whole story but the picture is of him pointing to our "how many miles till empty" display. Yup...we drove through the Salt Flats praying for a miracle as the tank sat at "zero". Delle is a great city in the desert that has a gas station. Delle saved my husband's life. I HATE HATE HATE running out of gas.

San Francisco Beauty

After the Seal rescue center we got to play for an hour at the beach. The surfers were having a blast and the kids enjoyed watching them. They came away with some pretty big shells

What a beautiful shot!!!!

The Golden Gate Bridge

We got the tourist's tour by Grandma. This is Lombard Street. I feel so sorry for the people who try to live here.

We took a picture of the apartment we got to live in with Grandma when we lived here for a few months after graduation. What a fun place it was.

Joshua and I played at this park every day. He loved the swings and was known as the pigeon chaser. This city is so beautiful--I miss it terribly.
